Life Is Good

I have to say that I’m much happier since I’ve retired. I can stitch or not, depending on my mood. I watch my DVDs. I spend way too much time on this blasted computer, but in general, life is good. I will say that Bette Davis was so right when she said that “old age isn’t for sissies”. That sentiment is spot on! Aging aside, I’m so grateful for my wonderful husband, and my family and friends. I’ve learned over the years that sometimes the people you think are really your friends, aren’t. And the people you never thought would be there for you, are.

  1. Well, I’ve got a sick husband on my hands. He’s got a really nasty cold. He hasn’t had one this bad in years. Fortunately, he has a three day weekend, so hopefully he can get some rest and maybe this thing will go away.
